They've just celebrated their first Christmas together as man and wife.

But according to Olivia Palermo and Johannes Huebl, they always knew they were meant to be.

'I had a feeling that she would be The One from early on,' said Johannes in a new interview with Flare magazine. 'Six years later, I finally asked her to be my wife.'

And the sexiest thing he likes to see his wife wearing? 'Lingerie,' he shared. 'But she also looks ravishing when she dresses for a night out!'

Olivia and Johannes shared their most memorable moments from their romance.

When asked about the first impressions of one another, Olivia quipped that she thought her man was 'charming and intelligent.' Johannes gushed, 'what a cute ball of fun she is.

'I think from the beginning we had a lot of respect for each other,' she said about when she knew he was the one to marry. 

'For our first date he picked me up from The New School in the pouring rain. I had my massive golf umbrella, and I was in Converse and skinny jeans. He was quite the gentleman.' 

The interview came as, for the first time, Olivia shared a magazine cover with her handsome husband.

The 28-year-old socialite dressed impeccably as she showed off her stylish figure in the Valentine's Day-themed spread.

Although her German hubby has been a model for most of his life, Olivia held her own as she gave her best poses to the camera.

She modelled a variety of high fashion outfits including a sleeveless purple number which she paired with silver and black slingbacks.

The brunette beauty wore her long tresses around her shoulders and looked elegant with a smoldering smoky eye makeup and bold rouge lip.

Johannes shared the fashion spotlight with his wife of six months wearing a double denim ensemble as he affectionately held onto Olivia's hand.

He was the perfect backdrop for his beloved, who was dressed in a mix of patterns including a dark colored blouse with multi-print maxi skirt. 

The couple displayed a more casual attire for a black and white shot that showed Olivia in a camisole and lace dress while Johannes handsomely pulled off a blazer and trousers.

This 12 month period will mark many firsts for Olivia and Johannes who recently celebrated their first Christmas together as a married couple. 

The lovebirds tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Bedford, New York in June.
