But it was their talent on the big screen that has seen Margot Robbie and Brenton Thwaites crowned Australians In Film's breakthrough actors of 2014 at the annual benefit and gala.

The 25-year-old The Giver star sleeked his long hair back, falls into a dewy, mullet-esque 'do.

He accessorised with a long silver chain that was tucked under his 70s style shirt.

Also by celebrity soiree was model Abbey Lee and actor Jonathan LaPaglia and Thomas Cocquerel.



Love child star, LaPaglia was joined on the red carpet with his wife Ursula Brooks and young daughter Tilly.

Abbey Lee looked her usual rock chick herself in a black pencil shirt, unbuttoned white shirt with a hint of bra, silver platforms and pint-colored locks.

She posed with a beautiful female friend.

Anzac Girls actor, Cocquerel was spotted with a beautiful blonde on the arm, which was not his girlfriend rumor Diana Agron.



LA-based hunk, Callan Mulvey cut a steely figure on Sunday, in a gray tweed ensemble and long, dark hair.

The former Heartbreak High actor in the latest installment of the 300 franchise, Rise Of An Empire, was released in March this year.

Margot's award comes after rumors swirled that she is in talks to star with Tina Fey in the highly anticipated The Taliban Shuffle.



According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 24-year-old still in the negotiation stage of the transaction.

Based on reporter Kim Barker's 2012 book The Taliban Shuffle: Strange Days in Afghanistan and Pakistan, the film has been described as a comic story about working in wartime Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Brenton's latest film, Son Of A Gun is out in cinemas.

He plays a young criminal in the Australian crime drama alongside British actor, Ewan McGregor.
