Justin Timberlake, Alber Elbaz To Be Honored At Fashion Group International's 2015 Night Of Stars

Fashion Group International's 2015 Night of Stars Gala — which is scheduled to take place on Oct. 22 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City — will honor Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz with the Superstar award, and singer Justin Timberlake will receive the Lord & Taylor Fashion Oracle accolade.

According to WWD, Jonathan Anderson, Bruno Frisoni for Roger Vivier and Jason Wu will be honored at FGI's 2015 Night of Stars. as well. The group will also present Bulgari with its Brand Heritage award, eBay with the Retail Trailblazer award and Pinterest will be given the Technology Innovation award. Additionally, Eileen Fisher has won for FGI's honor for Sustainability this year.

FGI's president and chief executive officer, Margaret Hayes, said that Elbaz is being recognized for his "revolutionary vision has rejuvenated the oldest and, arguably, most revered, fashion house in the world."

Hayes also told WWD that eBay has "revolutionized the way we shop," and that Eileen Fisher's "sustainable and ethical principles are helping to revolutionize the way we approach the future of the planet." The designer's namesake brand aims to become 100 percent sustainable over the next five years.

Estée Lauder's Karyn Khoury will also be recongized by FGI for her contribution to beauty, Yabu Pushelberg's George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg will be honored for their interior design work and Karen Harvey will be handed the Humanitarian award.

Simon Doonan is set to emcee the October event, and Ruben Toledo will be perform.

Earlier this month, the Dallas branch of FGI selected designer Prabal Gurung to receive its highest honor, the Career Achievement in Fashion Award.

"Not only is Prabal Gurung an influential designer in today's fashion world; he also has a strong commitment to make a difference in the global community," Chuck Steelman, regional director of FGI Dallas and vice president of fashion presentation at Neiman Marcus, told WWD.
